Hopefully the stingray deaths are just a coincidence.
Anyone who kills them from a sense of revenge has missed the whole message of Steve Irwin's life and work - he certainly would not approve of their actions. More likely he'd give them a "Crikey!" and a boot to their ignorant posteriors.

I hadn't heard anything about the attacks on sting rays. Do you mean as in media attacks or people actually physically attacking them? Either way no I do not think it is justified because yes they are dangerous wild animals but Steve Irwin knew that. I'm certain he was fully aware of the risks he was taking and he was still willing to make that choice. I think his death was extremely tragic and unfortunate, but it wasn't the sting ray's fault. Attack is their natural instinct if they feel threatened. That's just the way nature works and Steve Irwin probably knew that better than anyone. I'm sure if he could Steve himself would say even now, that he doesn't blame the sting ray.

Steve Died Doing What He Loved,
Steve Would Not Hold It Against Any Animal,
That's Why He Was So Good.
We Miss Him.
No The Attacks On The Sting Rays Are Not Justified.

I just think it is really sad! Especially with everything I've heard about sting rays they seem to be quite docile and not very threatening! Steve Irwin's death by one was such a shock, you couldn't help but like the guy, even if he was (in my opinion) a little nuts! But, look at it like he would, I think he would abhor this behavior, he loved all animals!

No way! Steve Irwin is apparently only the third or fourth person ever to be killed by a sting ray. They are not aggresive creatures, and normally only use their stings in self-defence.

absolutely not; an attack on any animal is unjustified - they dont have the human power of reason, plus to attack a whole group for the action of one is wrong whether it be animals or people.
Steven Irwin always said he'd probably die in the water because there were too many factors he couldnt control like he could on land, plus at te end of the day we was out there to teach us about the animals of the world and what we can do to protect them. he will be horrified that this is happening.

Steve Irwin never killed a man that I know of. John Lennon did. He didn't mean to kill him,but he was fighting a man,and kicked him in the stomach. The man died from the kick.

Not at all, seams pointless to me. There not even an agresive animal. The only reason for Steve to actually have died from the sting was due to the location
