Just say hello to her. You could chat with her as you do with your other friends. Tell her you noticed she is new and you know how it is to be new kid on the block and would like to be her friend.

Since you have made it clear you have no intentions beyond casual friendship this should be an easy task. Being that she's the new girl you are in the perfect position to initiate conversation. Ask her how she likes school so far. Offer her advice that will make life easier in a new environment.

You can not get noticed if you are in front of her...you can only enjoy her perfume while she has NO idea why the heavy breathing is happening behind her. Dude, Make sure you are clean when you sit down and smell good..Most females love the smell of a great colonge!!!

Dude, Ask her for help with your homework...I mean, you are in the same class together....right????

Go for it!!!!!!!

And if she has a boyfriend, so what, if he is not there....go for it.

WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOOSE????????
JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW GET OUT THERE AND WIN ONE FOR THE MALE GENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is good to make her feel welcome in her new school.

Take it slow, greet her each time you see her and have one question ready. ( How do you like our teacher, how is everyone treating you so far, or is our school nicer than your old school?)

By being helpful, you will make friends. By being brief in your conversations, you won't give her the wrong idea.

Best of luck in all your classes!
