If their lawyers are still practicing you can make contact with them and they can advise you where to go, if they don't have records of the divorce decree, which they should. Or you can go to the county seat where the divorce was finalized and you can request a copy from the courts. You will probably have to pay a fee, and if you no longer live close to that county you can obtain the info by mail or even over your computer.

Divorce decrees are public record. Go search for it in the county where the divorce took place.

Go to the vital records website or office in the town they were divorced. Most of those records will get filed in a clerk of court's office and most of the time they are public records.

You can look it up on the internet. Go to yahoo and search the county in which they were divorced, it should be in the court system website.
