Don't give me that oh-but-freckles-are-so-adorable stuff...I just wanna know if they fade away eventually!

Mine did. Not completely gone, but much lighter now than when I was a kid.

Freckles are caused by a group of cells in the skin making more melanin (a dark pigment) than surrounding cells. How many freckles you get depends on the skin type you have inherited. Some families get only a few or no freckles, while members of other families may get hundreds. People are not born with freckles, they only develop after a person has been exposed to sunlight. There are two types of freckles, one type appears when the skin is exposed to sun in summer and this type fades during winter months. The other type does not fade. These freckles tend to be darker than the freckles that fade.

I have never heard of toothpaste making freckles fade away. I have however heard that toothpaste helps pimples fade away.

Some do and some don't. It all depends on your Genetic makeup. Look at Lindsey Lohan. Her's probably won't fade too much, if at all.

No...unless you buy some kind of cream for it....and theres actaully a cream for freckles. I dont know where but u can always ask pll.

Um I dont think so but one thing that you can do to prevent them is to stay out of the sun. Put on sunscreen and if you dont want your freekles then use sheer cover if you want o cover them up.Good Luck!

I don't know about everyone, but mine did fade as soon as I got into my 20's. I miss them.

NO!! I have been cursed with them for 24 years. Stay out of the sun and they aren't as dark but they are and will always be there.

unfotunently not my granma has them and she's 60 something and has them since she can rember which is like 5 yrs old
srry to break it 2 u but if u dont like them get a slightly darker skin foundation and tht dose the trick

Eventually yeah and if you don't like them there's always make-up....they will go away if you stay out of the sun lol
