If you had a choice between getting promoted to VP of IBM making a 6 figure salary or going to Darfur in the Sudan to do volunteer work for the suffering people. Which would you choose. What's important to you...doing a good deed or being or having it all?

Poor you! You are so naive! You can do both ! Follow my lead start a small company hire people who need help [ I am not talking about bums] I mean people who have had a hard time in life. Pay them a living wage and make a profit your self that way I can help people here in my own area!

You always need much brain to make any decisions for yourself.
The dollar is not almighty, but you can use it with wisdom to accomplish your good deeds.
Not all people who make 6 figure salary are bad, and also not all volunteers for the suffering people are good. The criterion for good or bad is the sincere and conscious selfless love in your heart.

Everyone here has the ability to save up and go to Darfur if they really wanted to. Anyone who says they would are either on their way or lying. I'd take the six figure job. It take the five figure one I'm currently working for.

I'd take the job and help the volunteers in Darfur.

well having that much money i could better help ppl so id take the job and donate a couple grand to the volunteers and missionarys there

I'd take the money! Helping suffering people doesn't put food on the table.
