Which treaty of Paris would you be asking about?

I am assuming you mean the Treaty of Paris that ended the American Revolutionary War.

1. The thirteen original colonies which revolted were recognized as being independent of Great Britain.
2. American territory was recognized as stretching from the Great Lakes, the Mississippi, and the Spanish possessions to the south.
3. American fisherman could fish off the Grand Banks and other British-Canadian waters
4. Claims resulting from the war could be recovered lawfully by both sides.
5. The British asked the U.S. not to molest Loyalists.
6. Upon ratification, prisoners on either side would be released and no other persons taken into custody concerning war-related issues.
7. A perpetual peace was declared between the two countries and archives seized by the British were to be returned to the now independent states.
8. The Mississippi River was to remain open for navigation to both the U.S. and Britain.
9. Territory conquered by either Britain or the U.S. during the war was to be given back.

Acknowledgement of sovereignty by Britain and the rest of Europe. In other words, by the signing of that treaty the rest of the world acknowledged the independence of the United States from Britain. Also, Britain ceded all of its lands east of the Mississippi to the United States (except for the Canadian territories, of course). There were also a number of points relating to fishing rights, trade, and commerce.

So, even though the 1776 Declaration of Independence established the United States of America, no other nation acknowledged that government until the 1783 Treaty of Paris.
