Do you have to wait 5 years ,if you have section 8 in another state, and moved , I use to live in texas and i have section 8 i broke the 1 years leace, and now im in Virginia and im trying to get section 8 again, and the people here tell me i have to wait 5 years since i broke the leace in texas , it that true ?

if you moved without notice and didn't inform the agency you were moving yes you could have to wait up to 5 years before you are eligible for section 8 or any other housing program, you should check with texas to see the outcome of the penalties you may have and your credit because the place you lived you had to sign a lease that could've put an eviction on your credit report.

The regulations are the regulations and they are in print and available to you for the asking.

You should not have broken the lease. You should have shot your boyfriend before he and his homeboys made you lose your lease. Or, you should have shot your lesbian lover before she and her homegirls made you lose your lease. We always pay our bills in the U.S. or you suffer the consequences. Your future is who you pal around with.

Unless you have a disability that does not allow you to work at a career and build a financially stable life, you should not be applying for Section 8. One reason some citizens can't get the housing is that illegal aliens by the thousands have taken their allotment. The activists actually arrange this for them as another in-your-face anti-American move. They do it with fake i.d.'s, ss and other documents. Ask your DPSS person about that.
