ok first of all, an astronomer and an astrologist are way to different things. I see in your question you put astroLOGIST and on your question, you put astronomer. An astronomer studies space, planets, stars, nebulas, ect. An astroLOGIST studies the effect space has on humans. Like the egyptians used to do. They used to fortell the future and people's signs like scorpio, libra, ect. Thats is where we get zodiac signs. A Marine Biologist studies the life undersea. Basically undersea stuff, animals, and living organisms, including plants. Good luck on the essay.

I would imagine that you mean "Astronomer" for "Astrologer"...where an Astronomer studies the Solar System and the Galaxies and the Universe as a whole...and an Astrologist is one of those frauds who try to tell you that your life is all written within the patterns of the planets and stars that surround us in the Milky Way Galaxy (HA!!). Anyway, this is not at all confusing...for a Marine Biologist studies marine life (plants and fish or whatever that grows and lives in the water), and an Astronomer studies the heavens. An astrologist however, are experts in the studies of lies.

Marine biologists study the ecology of the Ocean enviroments. Astronomers study planets, stars, and other celestial bodies.

Here is one source, but Fritz Zwicky's bio there is kind of lame.
http://www.infoplease.com/spot/scibio6.html

This page links to all kinds of bios elsewhere, and is a source I used for classes I have taught.

Read about Fritz Zwicky. What a character!

Incidentally (and it may be coincidence, or it may be relevant), some marine biologists play quite an important role in the new field of astrobiology. Extremophiles found near undersea volcanic vents are often considered to be similar to primitive life that we might find on other worlds.

Astronomers study the stars, planets, the universe, space, ect.

Marine Biologists study the ocean, sea life, sea animals, sea envirronment ect.

Both do different things. One deals with space, the other oceans.

good luck=]
