The rainbow is the symbol of diversity -- many different colors (or beliefs or lifestyles) co-existing.

I dont know either.. I wonder too when did the national gay symbol become a rainbow.. Its wierd .

there's no pot of anything at the end of the rainbow.

It's just a symbol that they seem to have chosen,they must let everyone know they're gay,it's the most important part of their lives!

i dont know maybe all the colors....which simbalize britghtness and hapinesss.whicch also doesnt make sense...i dotn know though...good question
