the people on those commercials more than likely DONT have herpes. they are too model looking, that's how you can tell. and there is no tiny letters on the screen saying "actual sufferer"

99.9 percent of all commercials feature paid actors, so chances are, those people in the ads saying they have herpes probably really don't. Now, if this is a rhetorical question and for the sake of argument let's say I did have herpes, you couldn't pay me enough to go on TV and make that statement.

If I really did have herpes I will never be persuaded by money to go on those commercials! I don't think anyone else will, either.
If I have the chance to be on a commercial, just pay me about $1,500.

I would do it for the going rate of commercial whether I had it or not........whats so embarrassing....I know people that have it.....it's more common than you think ...I am very lucky that in my 42 yrs I have escaped it so far but you never know!
