I it the privilege of every American to be able to vote. I say privilege because many people literally died for our right to vote. If we want to embrace a democratic society it is important for each person to help decide the rules by which we are governed.

We decide who gets into powerful positions, we decide a lot of civil and community rules, we decide somewhat how we are taxed and we decide the freedoms we will have.

If we wish to be a democratic society each member should exercise their right to vote.
