This is purely a scientific question. Can monkey sperm fertilize a human egg or vice versa?

No; neither monkeys nor chimps can hybridize with humans.

not to mention the ethical issues...

I believe we have different chromosome numbers. There would not be a match, and the egg would die.

no - it just doesnt work - well at least so far as we can tell - they dont let people actually try this because of the ethical downside.
