Wow good question. Heres the answer. The far right has massive amounts of power in the form of the incredibly wealthy religious right, and the left has equally vast amount of money in the form of the wealthy liberal hollywood and and other influential types. This might not be the way we want it to be but it follows the immutable golden rule. Whoever has the gold ..... Rules
