Leather Scratch Repair Kit

If the scratches are deep enough to have removed any dye or stain that was applied to the leather, you may end up with the same 'look' unless you repair / replace the lost color.

We have two leather sofas and two leather chairs in our living room. The natural buckskin sofa and chair cushions were beginning to crack so I searched high and low ending up with two leather conditioners I purchased.

One is a product called Lexol. Made by Summit Industries out of Marrieta Georgia. I used this and was happy with the results although it did darken the leather just a little bit.

The other product I have but have not used as yet is called Hide Food. It is touted as having been made by the same company that makes leather interiors for Bentley and other expensive automobiles. A search on the internet got me to an automotive care supplier in Miami whom I ordered the Hide Food from.

Lexol is a heavy liquid substance. Hide food is a more solid substance and the label says it is a "lanolin waxy cream"

Good luck!

Leather Repair Kit Home Depot

Hello

This greatly depends on the type of leather you have. If it is an aniline leather (one that scratches easily with a fingernail) these can usually be remedied with a good leather protector .

If you have a pigment suite it is essential to get the correct products and colour to match your leather, If the scratches are failry superficial they will then repair easily. A good product would be a bonded pigment mixed to match your leather. If you are in the UK try the people below who do this service.

I suppose there are scratch-repair products for leather items in the market. Perhaps you could approach the company for reference should your couch be a designer furniture. Otherwise, try not to purchase online.Get recommendations from the stores would put you in a safer situation. :)

There is something of a sort of "filler" for it. You can find it allmost anywhere. It has a silicone base and just fills the cracks and scratches in,,,,,then you just buff it a bit and it's allmost unnoticable to anyone who doesn't know it's there. One brand is allmost as good as another. Some sell for a little as $5 a tube. It is also very easy to use.

I'm sure that you can but you can try a leather nourisher that will lessen the appearance of the scratch slightly.
