I live in Southern California and it is very nice. The weather is really what keeps me here more than anything else. Almost everyday there is guaranteed sunshine. The population is diverse and there is a lot to do. It is a very beautiful state.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I've lived here for 27 years and can't seem to pull myself away. However brief, I've lived other places, nothing I've found yet, can compare. But not everyone prefers the lack of the four seasons or the cost of living. So, as with anything, it’s best to be your own judge.

There are many parts of california.... it goes from desert in some regions to mountainous areas that a deep in "snow country" over the winter..... The coast varies depending on where you go, as does the city life.... There are numerous farming operations like orchards and vineyards.
In CA they could really develop more of their "beach areas" into "campgrounds" it would add to the tourist industry as the campgrounds on the beach or beach side are very popular.
I hope for vegan awareness....... please.......

Specify WHERE in Cali you want to know about. California has the ocean, mountains, and desert!! Cali is expensive, and beautiful in places, depending on what you like.

Very pretty. I used to live in Seaside near the ocean...always warm there but the water is cold..its expensive to live there..

I lived there for 25 years, and enjoyed it. But it is getting too expensive for me now.
