a leopard gecko is better because u don't have to shave it, which means u don't have to buy razors.

well, i have a bearded dragon. a bearded dragon might be more expensive, but i would defintly not say that bearded dragons are harder. if you get one when they are little, they can grow attatched to you. if you want a bigger reptile, get a bearded dragon. they can grow up to 2 feet and require a 30 gal. tank. leopard geckos can grow up to 10 inches. the only thing about leopard geckos is, they require a lot of crickets a few times every week, where bearded dragons eat mostly veggies, and occasionally crickets. also, leopard geckos can be annoying at night because they make calls, but bearded dragons are quiet, besides there constant scurrying and sand tossing. but, its up to you. judge by what i've told you

Dude, theres a huge size difference, it depends how much you want to pay and how much room you want to sacrifice. My brother has a fully grown bearded dragon and the terrarium is about 6 feet long. My other brother has a leopard gecko and he has just a small terrarium on a stand. If it really doesnt matter to you, I'd suggest the bearded dragon, they're pretty smart. Look up 'Bearded Dragon Care Sheet' on Yahoo/ Google, and see if it's right for you.

The neat thing about bearded dragons is that they are laid back and calm. You can walk around with them on your chest (their claws hold them) and they will stay. They sit still for petting and can eat a pellet diet, so no meal worms, crickets etc... Geckos are more active and I think they need live food.

I had a bearded dragon for years named Tupac. When my husband and I split up and I moved away, I gave him to a close friend and he is doing great still. He was a JOY to have. VERY personable and sooooo cute. I would definitely choose the bearded dragon.

seems as tough baby bearded dragons are the best..
don't get me wrong all gecko are not mean.... just seems as though the dragons are not to aggressive..
i have a day gecko... not mean at all...
he is on my right ankle... a tattoo!!!

I have a bearded dragon, when I bought him, he himself was about 50 dollors but he was a hatchling and all his stuff together was about 200 dollors plus 5 dollors every week for crickets and another 5 dollors every other week fot fresh veggies.Dragons are somewhat easy to take care of but every other week you have to give them a bath, feed them every day,once a day, and make sure to turn on his heat lamp and uv light on and off every day.
I don't know about Leperd Geckos

Leopard geckos are easier but lazier, but bearded dragons are more fun!

leopard gecko is the easiest its nocturnal, poops in one area of tank, needs no uva or uvb light only heat bulb, feed crickets every other or third evening, gentle and docile.
Beardies are more interactive need special lighting requirements salad every day handled everyday, messy messy poop everywhere, eat lots of crickets, need heat pad, cool area cleaned frequently .

Because, reptiles are cool. I like dogs, and cats, as well, I like reptile they are cool, and I love dragons, I would pick the dragon, but that's just my personality.

leopard gecko
Only have to clean their cages twice a month & you only have to change their sand every other month. I have 2.
