Forget the image in the Middle East....how about our imagine in the rest of the world.
My problem with my country....we act like we're on this planet by ourselves....that's a dangerous way to think. There are more of "them" then that are of "us".

The Middle East has never been a close "friend" of the United States. When you talk about the Middle East, you are referring to the Muslim world. The Muslims have certain radical elements that hate America and have hated America for what we are and what we have been. Being a friend of Israel only adds fuel to fire. How can you ask what you do and not remember what happened during Jimmy Carter's watch - that huge fiasco when our embassy was taken over by militants and our people (and our country) were held hostage for 444 days? So what made Jimmy Carter's foreign policy such a great work of achievement?
Regardless of what you watch on The Daily Show, there are a lot of middle Easterners who are friends with the US. However, you are dealing with people that have 0very different cultures, religion, customs, diets and beliefs. It is hard to make these people change their feelings. Some have been fighting for centuries.

I certainly don't think that allowing Iran to build a nuclear bomb or allowing the terrorists to overrun Iraq will "repair America's image" in the middle east. Maybe handing them Israel on a silver platter might, but I don't think the extermination of the jews is a good idea either. Hugging all the terrorists after we surrender to them doesn't seem like a very good idea either.
I'm not sure we really need to "repair America's image" in the middle east, with what reasonable country do we have an image problem?
I think beating the terrorists into pulp and halting Iran's quest for a nuclear bomb will go a long way.
I haven't seen any reasonable democrat solutions, just surrender and let the terrorists go wild so far.

This is not a Republican or Democratic War and the Bush Administration has not destroyed America's image
in the middle East. This is a F********* Islamo-Fascist War and they need to be destroyed, then the USA's image will be repaired.

Oh he's unquestionably one of those precise-winger! Even the conservative occasion of Iran opposes the Iranian president. guess they're islamophobic precise? 2) have you ever seen a christian guy stone his spouse to death with the aid of fact she is conscious a thank you to stress? Are females in this us of a being honor killed for relationship exterior their faith or ethnicity? 3) you're borderline looney with that one.

If staying the course is not an answer, does that you mean you will accept "get out of Iraq"?
Under the circumstances, let's just keep our "broken" image and not worry about what our enemies think about us. We do not have a broken image with our true friends. Comprendo?

We don't need to repair anything. The people we are at war with want to kill us or convert us to Islam. They don't care about us, about our political leanings, or life. They truly believe that freedom is evil and want to kill anyone & everyone who thinks freedom is good.
The only people who think that we have an image to repair around the world are the people in the main-stream media who are feeding us b/s & lies.
America is the greatest country on earth. Why do you think millions upon millions of people try to get in???

America's image in the midle east is just fine.
Bush has seriously damaged the image of the United States on the eyes of the world though....
How can we repair that? that's a toughy one thing we CAN NOT do is leave Iraq in shambles, we shouldn't had gone there, but now that we are there we must finish what we've started.

Who gives a sh*t?
That is like saying:
How can I repair my image with this pack of rabid hyenas?
Maybe if they see that I am really a good person, they won't eat me!
You're a joke

Build "Muslim Disneyland" on top of the Kabba in Mecca. That should lighten everyone's spirit.
