I would... go back in time to Henry VIII at the end of his life and thoroughly scold him for his behaviour. All that trouble he went to to get an heir, the wives he destroyed both mentally and physically in the process - and what did he get? A pallid, sickly (but very intelligent) son who ruled only until his death at sixteen and made such an impact on history that many have never heard of him. On the other hand, the two daughters who went up and down in his favour, were despised then elevated again, then relegated to lowly status, made such deep impressions on England that one is still called Bloody Mary and the other, daughter of a beheaded enchantress, gave her name to one of the most glorious eras to date. So much, then, Bluff King Hal, for your obsessive attempts to get a son. You should have looked to your daughters!

In a Word.... No....

I certainly wouldn't be able to give Henry VIII The Son he obviously wanted, and Elizabeth 1st looks pretty rough in the paintings you see of her. Now i know airbrushing wasn't invented yet but even so...

I would go for Elizabeth 1st,she was a great states women,i think she had a lot courage to tackle the problems of britain at the time.
She put her life on the line when she was confronted by her sister,
Mary 1(bloody mary).
Yes she had her flings/relationships,but she did end up sacrificing
her own private relationships, for the sake of her country.
Elizabeth also carried on her fathers work in building the Royal navy
to a power which saved us from foriegn powers namely the Spanish, and French!.

The Tudors were a hateful bunch, and Henry was described as being so greedy there wasn't sufficient money in the entire world to satisfy his greed. They ruled by fear, torture and murder.
We still pay for their misdeeds up to the present time.

... go back in time and kill Henry VIII? Defnitely. He caused an amazing amount of trouble and undoubtedly caused Europe to fragment into later wars. He was indirectly responsible for the IRA, for example.

As she only bathed once a year I would steer clear of Elizabeth 1.
