15(4-5b) = 16(4-6b) + 10

Step 1: Distribute the parenthesis:
60 - 75b = 64 - 96b + 10

Step 2: Combine like terms:
60 - 75b = 74 - 96b

Step 3: Subtract 60 - 75b from 74 - 96b.
0 = 74 - 96b - (60 - 75b)
0 = 74 - 96b - 60 + 75b

Step 4: Combine like terms:
0 = 74 - 60 + 75b - 96b
0 = 14 - 21b
21b = 14
b = 14/21 = 2/3

OKay step one - distribute the mulitplication:

60 - 75b = 64 - 96b + 10

Combine like terms

60 - 75b = 74 - 96b

Subtract 60 and add 75b to both sides

0 = 14 + 21b
21b = -14
b = -14/21 or -2/3
