I'm a 15 year old boy who just got his penis pierced on 9/11. My mom just told me that she was going to take me to the Urologist on Friday to find out if I need to be circumcised. None of my parents know about my new piercing and unfortunately I'm not allowed to remove it for a while. What should I do to keep it without my parents finding out.

tell them not to come w/ you to see the doctor. if they do come, tell them to stay in the lobby to wait for you. explain to the doctor that he should not tell your parents about your piercing. it's patient/doctor confidentiality.

WOW!!! Too many people are missing the point all together! Dude, your parents are not going to be in the examining room with you. Ask your doctor if you really need to be circumcised....if not, leave it the way it is (I wish I had the choice when I was a baby). I understand about the piercing, I have a PA and I know you can't take it out for a while, just ask the doctor not to mention it to your folks, he's a professional, he can handle it. I'm not sure about the doctor/patient confidentiality because you are a minor and he is working for and being paid by your parents, but give it a shot anyway.

Trust me....when that piercing heals and the time is right, you are really going to enjoy that piercing. Don't worry what THESE girls have said....like I said earlier, most of them missed the point of the question anyway...There are women around that would almost pay to have a guy who is pierced there....and I found mine.

Good luck

First of all, you dont need to be circumcised. Thats stupid and I dont know why americans think you do ( she has to be American, am I right?) Second, just tell her you're 15 now and you need some privacy. The doctor will understand and your mom will have to wait in the waiting room. If you ask the doctor not to tell her about your peircing, he cant. He cant tell her anything without your permision.
A little info..... just pull your foreskin back everyday when you take a shower and wash your penis well. If you keep it clean, there is no reason you will have ANY problems. If you do get an infction just tell the doctor. He will give you some anitbiotics and tell you to wash it well every day. Thats all there is to it. Keeping your foreskin will be better for you sexually when you get older anyway. Keep it.

Because you are a minor the doctor will be required to report this to the child welfare services dept in your area, you may be taken away from your parents and placed in a temporary home until it can be determined if they knew about it, as it is considered sexual asault of a minor to sign the consent form to allow this, and to perform the piercing on a minor.
In NJ piercing genitalia on a minor is considered mutilation of a minor and carries a 10 year jail sentance, and quite frankly any piercer willing to do this on a 15 year old should go to prison. The fact is if you do not take it out you may well find yourself in foster care very soon and your piercer may find themselves in jail.
I'm not just trying to be mean, or scare you, this is very serious! Look up piercing laws in your state on line and see what you find out!

you don't know if you are circumcised? Doesn't your mom know? Just tell your mom that you are, even if you aren't. By 15, it is very painful to get the foreskin removed if you haven't been circumcised. I would try to convince her that you are fine as you are.

As far as the piercing goes, why did you do that? What were you thinking? Does it feel good? Do you show it off?

OUCH, well it's to late now , is it not illegal where you live to get a piercing without a parents consent since your under age ? I think I'd remove it and go to what your parents want you to do..You can always get it done again later..

hmmm... considering the piercing can't legally be done without a parent's consent, you could be in trouble. Your doctor should respect your privacy, but how the hell do you deal with a penis piercing if you are uncircumcised??? Ouch

You should just tell them, they'll find out one way or another. Not to mention, aren't there rules where you live against piercing parts of people under 18?!?!

Who the hell would pierce their penis first of all. And tell them that your too old for them to come and then take a taxi. If they come say you don't want them 2 come 'cuz your too old and then tel the doc to not tell your parents. If you tell him the situation, he'll understand.
