Yes hit select all then delete that should do it.

for your messenger- go to CONTACTS at the top and go to MESSAGE ARCHIEVE when you get there you can click on the top line and delete like you are deleting one message it gets rid of everything
for yahoo email- just go to where it says CHECK ALL right above the list of emails and then click on DELETE ALL
not sure what else you could mean

To delete bulk messages, you can just click empty next to the folder name.
