2 questions.. Does a belly button ring hurt? and what do guys think of them

Anytime you put a hole in your body, it's gonna hurt.
Belly button rings are for the immature and tasteless.

Be *careful* with this piercing. It takes a while to heal. You need to keep up with aftercare (seasalt soaks, cleaning with non-scented soap, etc) and don't wear cheap jewelry until it's healed. Don't go swimming, especially in pools and make sure that your hands are clean before touching the jewelry.
The clamps will hurt worse than the piercing itself. Try pinching the area and that should give you some idea of what it'll feel like. Be sure to get it at 14 gauge and either titanium, surgical stainless steel, or niobium. High quality jewelry is a MUST for healing piercings! You can switch to lower quality (Claire's or Wal-Mart type) jewelry when you're fully healed.
Go to a professional piercer, preferably one who's in the APP (Association of Professional Piercers) and if it feels sore or looks red, see your piercer for advice.
Oh, don't put a retainer (clear piece of plastic) in until healed. It can harbor bacteria which can infect your piercing. The same goes for acryllic beads/balls.
I've had a few piercings and have had mixed reactions from guys. I don't think that someone will see your piercing unless you're topless or showing your belly... if he doesn't like it, you could wear a retainer (clear) or take it out for short periods of time.

I just got mine done about a week and a half ago. It hurts, but in the just got your ear pierced kinda way. As long as you take care of it it shouldn't bother you too much, but it will swell a little and be sore for the first week or so.
All of my friends like mine...guys included, but this will of course vary from person to person.

No it does'nt hurt 1 bit, i've had it done a few times, your belly is frozen, I just asked my boyfriend what he thought and he said, 'I don't think anything of it'.

not too sexy...for me the only rings id like to see on a girl is on their ears

ive never gotten it done but i heard it hurts pretty bad, also i think its kinda slutty and you shouldnt get one unless you have a stomach to show it off to.
