There are many types of headaches. It would really help if you describe it. Some headaches hurt in the forehead. If you bend over, it hurts much more, that is due to sinus pressure. Take sudafed or something similar.
If it just hurts everywhere, aspirin or advil are great.
If it is a migraine, it hurts generally half of your head, light and sound hurts, it hurts behind one eye you feel stuffy nose, nausea. Then you need another medication with active ingredient sumatripan. But it is sold only with prescription. You could try excedrin migraine to control it until you can get a prescription. If it is migraine and it gets worse go to a hospital.

Hope you get better

Headaches are caused by many different conditions in the body. Stress can cause a headache. What is causing you the headache is what you need to do. Maybe something you eat can cause a headache. Plain old aspirin works for my headaches, but it does not pay the bills. Michelle

Why can't they both pray and take medicine? Faulty either/or. Actually, medicine ≠ science. Rather, it's a subset of science if you want to use mathematical parlance. And Christians don't have any problem with operational science. which is based on experiments that observable, testable, and repeatable, but rather only with philosophical assumptions such as methodological naturalism (which is not deducible by the experimental method) that are passed off as "good science".

My husband gets gnarly headaches--not migraines just bad headaches and the only over-the-counter pain reliever that stops it is Anacin. My mom swears by it too.
