I don't, but he did not address the patriot act much at all. Overall, I thought it was a very good and honest speech. Do you think he missed anything else also. Please, i would appreciate if the fanatics did not answer this question.

I think the Speech was good He stuck to the point. This was not about the patriot act or all that other stuff it was about the Victims of 9-11. I respect that he did not use this day as a platform for him self. True Bush form! he will allow people to talk all they want, he knows he has done the right things and he is not going to spend his precious time trying to explain to simpletons. He is moving foreword. Were their mistakes YES but he will not dishonor the memories of our fallen brothers and sisters by thinking of him self on the anniversary of their murder.

Well.. I didn't happen to watch the speech ~ but according to the poll on CNN, 70-something % of those polled said that he was incredibly partisan (even though he claimed it would not be political) - and the speech did not reap high marks.

What truly counts though is how you perceived it.

If YOU thought he did a great job (which it appears that you do) .. than to you, he did a great job.

I am living in Argentina. CNN en español did not show it all so i don't know, but i will say that what I heard sounded very compassionate. I dont think he "lied" per say but he did omit or exaggerrate. True Iraq was a threat but not the imminent threat he claimed before going to war.

I did not listen to his entire speech, but I do not think he ever intentionally lies to us. He may tell us things that are not true thinking they are true, but that is not a lie.
