Don't worry about it. If the turtle was just found yesterday, it might have just eaten on it's own in the wild. Also, it might be a little stressed about being "found",& will probably take a few days to settle into it's new home. Don't try to feed it for at least 3-5 days. Turtles can go for very long periods without eating(months) so don't let a few days freak you.

LET IT GO!
Wood turtles are endanged and protected in most of their range.
In captivity, they require a bog or stream habitat- one of the harder habitats to reproduce for keepers- a tough balance of wet and dry with a wider variety of microclimates than usual. Just offering the right heat level is tough- these guys live in habitats that vary between very warm and mildly chilly and they do a lot of thermoregulation.
The usual diet is a 'salad' of mixed greens, veggies, fruits, and a little protein- but to maintain the right health, the mix has to the right ratios of the right foods.
There is also the issue that wild-caught turtles rarely eat well because of the trauma of being captured and put into a terribly unfamiliar situation.
Now- my recommendation:
Wood turtles are gorgeous, intelligent animals. I'd keep it for a few days and enjoy it, then release it where it was found. Handle it as little as possible to avoid giving it any diseases.
Don't worry about fod too much for a couple days, but a little salad or some worms, etc. would be nice if it eats them. Make sure, however, it has access to fresh water at all times.
