Yes, I love them! I grew up eating them. My Grandma always made them and put gravy over them. My Grandpa grew tons of tomatoes and I loved being in the kitchen while that pressure cooker was going and grandma had tomatoes all over the room making all kinds of good stuff. I have a really good recipe if you want it. I make tomato chutney to go with mine. thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I love fried green tomatoes. How do you fix them? I fry them in flour.

I love them--I bread mine with some corn meal and fry them in butter. If my butter is unsalted--I salt my tomatoes (and a little pepper too) while they are cooling on a paper towel. They are also yummy with a little sour cream!

actually thought my husband was CRAZY when he said I had to try them [from London England and they sure are NOT on the menu over there] anyways tried them and LOVED them, have tried once or twice to make them but will just have to settle for going to a nice place in Ga for them.
Even made my parents try them when they came to visit.

Never had them, but I think they sound good, if they were freid in olive oil over the top of cheese filled ravioli, or spaggetti...or really any kind of pasta...YUMMY!!! We'll at least they sound good.
