FOR REAL: when i was in high school, i lived in a really small town and no one understood me. i joined a fan club of one of my favorite rock bands. through it, i got 25 "pen pals". we would make little books and send them to each other, putting an adress on each page with our interests. (like myspace) then when it was full, it would go back to the maker of the book.

I've been hanging around "the net" since the early 90's.. before that, I read a lot more.
