I just got my kit and was hoping i may get some advice. I love the product but just moved to a town where I don't know anyone. I am asking friends and family but any advice that could be givin will be very helpful. I am very excited and determend to get the best out of this oppurtunity. thanks so much

Don't pressure friends and family, instead just ask their opinions about who would buy and ask them where good places are to put your business cards around...some of my family leave my cards for me in places they frequent. But you don't want to irritate them with sales tactics. Make sure you get your leaflets/cards out there. And remember it will not be smooth sailing at first, I am in sales for my own business, you have to build a clientel. Know as much about your products as possible. Don't overly gush when you make women up, point out the improvements and smile a lot. If you stick with it and refine your techniques you will be successful.. Good luck!

I was in the same postion you are in now just a month ago. I recently got married and moved to a different state where I knew no one. So my Mary Kay Director sent me to this national sales directors website and it has helped out greatly.

Once on her main page go to the training center tab on the right of the main page. If you scroll down to the bottom of the training center page you will find a link called Website Gift Certificates from Rebbeca Evans. Even if you don't have a website this would be a way for you to get to know new people and to start getting new clients. The gift certificates she has created is under miscellaneous on the training center page.

BE very prepared to lose LOTS of your friends!! THEY hate to see you coming because the hate the pressure to BUY!!! I can NOT wear MK--- and avoid all folks whom sells it...... THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND!! I CAN NOW WEAR IT!!!!! UP sets my allergies...... GO AWAY!!!
