You could probably pick one up for less, but my Sony burner (older, slower version) has not given me any problems.

sony is one of those companys that think they are the best at making everything (which they are pretty good at) but most the time all your really paying for is the brand

i agree with scokeman you need to research the net more you can get a good one on ebay for cheaper
