Isn't it great that when elections come close the Republicans start spewing fear? Oh how I love my election time fear.
And no it's not some stupid moronic liberal idea....plesae wake up and look at the news when election time comes around.
In this country we live in FEAR FEAR FEAR!!!
Fear of terrorists. Fear of bird flu. Fear of the boogy man. Fear of religions that are not Christianity. Fear of the unknown. Fear of people who think differently then we do. Fear of gas prices.
I personally am sick of the fear tactic. It is old and worn out. How about we hear about some of the real issues that are taking place right now. Bush and his buddies ate up the fear at the RNC in New York a few years back. Where they used the death of 3,000 American lives for political gain. In fact, they scared people so much, the public actually bought into it and re-elected him. Amazingly enough, this administration has failed to get the "perpetrator" or "islamo-fascist," that they have promised to bring to justice.
The irony is....this took the back burner until a few weeks ago. Where again, Osama became the forfront of this years campaign for Republicans. Along with terrorism, 9-11, islamo-fascists, Iraq, Iran, the Patriot Act, the "government spieing program, (yes I said spieing)," the tracking of bank records and more terrorism.
Not one time yet have I heard of illegal immigration, wages, the economy, gas prices, true national security or the victims of Hurricane Katrina....yes indeed these people aim to put the fear in you....and they are doing a damn good job at it.
WOW!! Looks like I got a bad review for stating an obvious fact. I expect nothing less....Republicans don't believe the truth because as we all know, it has a liberal bias.

No. Instead of uniting the country with the memory of 9/11, he spread his propaganda about the war on "terra" in Iraq. It was not cool at all and was a total slap in the face to those who were affected by 9/11...which is the entire country.

confident, i think of that they did make a mistake. Obama could have been a extra appropriate "occasion cheerleader" than a candidate, going around the country and energizing college pupils, and so on. If the democrats lose this election, while they nevertheless have Bush to push around, it rather is going to likely be particularly pathetic. yet, for my section, it rather is going to likely be with the aid of fact they did no longer nominate Hillary, who appeals to 3 conservatives (myself, for one) extra desirable than McCain does.

I dont listen to a word the President says.He could be standing in front of me and it could be raining and he could tell me its raining and I wouldnt believe him. I cant believe anybody still believes the drivel that comes out this mans mouth. Its amazing you just fall into like behind whatever the current republican talking points are. Just amazing. What would you need to realize you are backing the wrong ideals? Just because Bush calls himself a republican doesnt mean he is, just think for yourselves. And no liberal I know is terrorist loving you imbecile. We are stronger patriots than you are. You dont have to support his war to love this country.

It seems to me the prez was using this whole 9/11 thing as a campaign ploy. Those mid term elections are happening now. There was no greater love for Georgie than during those early post 9/11 days.

Man, at first, I thought you were being sarcastic and I was gonna let you have it!! But, yeah, it was great! The liberals are trying to spin it, saying it was a political speech. What could be more appropriate than to say that we will continue to be tough in the war on terror? We owe it to those who lost their lives at the hands of the fiends!

It was very moving.
It seems that you are the only one who is saying something so predictably stupid and moronic.
(I hereby apologize to morons for comparing them to conservatives).
