But wait till you prune one the first time I cut a frawn off I caught a small coconut thing in the EYE. and then a CUCARACHA flew down and attacked me as I circled the yard in pain. Probably if they have dates on them. And it probably depends on the environment. In my area, the giant outdoor roaches are attracted to light. They were swarming a floodlight by my house. Yick! But I would not let that you've heard they are attrached to palm trees stop you from getting a palm tree. I've also heard they "like" cedar and banana trees. Those I can live w/o but I want lots of palm trees!

The only thing that we have problems with being attracted to Palm trees here in Barbados are rats.
We do have giant cockroaches but they do not appear to hang out in our palm trees but rather provide entertainment for the cats.

Palm trees have thier own form of "Roach".

They are HUGE, and are called Palmento Bugs.

You spray for them, just like roaches and they get EVERYWHERE!! Almost impossible to get rid of, while you have the trees around.

Florida are polluted with them, because of the Palm trees.

I wish you well..

There are user-friendly issues that could help as we already stated, save nutrition positioned away--esp any candy (chocolates attraction to), save issues sparkling. you ought to place the presents in a plastic bag and seal it, get them off the floor and save the section sparkling of debris, save the tree hydrated with water or do away with it altogether and think of roughly a synthetic one (in case you have a stay tree). Boric acid mixed w/ powdered sugar, flour or peanut butter is used plenty as is does kill them notwithstanding it could't be used close to childrens or animals because it can cause them to ill. Boric acid powder may well be blown into cracks and this is a deterrent. 20 Mule group Wash poder is created from it and can be used efficiently relatively of finding basically the powder. Seal all cracks around the floor boards, in cabinets, decrease than sinks... to sluggish them down. Roach traps will capture them w/ bait. save Sprays are no longer good for toddlers or pets yet exterminators can positioned down a sprig that may no longer risky to pets or childrens.
