Al Gore did win in 2000...it was just stolen away from him by the evil corrupt republican party. And the Bush administration planned 911, to terrorize the public and strengthen the republican party by doing so. Look at the physics...the towers fell almost straight down...this was all planned...i say it again...it was all planned. Bush is a terrorrist...i personally prefer bin laden...so, to answer your question, NO!!! 911 would not have happened.

The White homestead may be lit up like a Christmas tree day and night, Air rigidity a million and the White homestead limos may be idling 24/7, or hauling huge Al around on pointless journeys whilst he informed the rest persons to stay at night and walk. form of like the way he's doing now.

September 11th was a result of terrorists deciding they hated our country for what it was/is. It was going to happen reguardless of the president in office. President Bush just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time. He did what was needed to be done at the time, and couldn't have handled it any better.
Another good question would be if Al Gore was in office, and we didn't have this war against the middle east..Would we have been struck again?

Neddie- you poor uninformed fool, you honestly think that for the 8 month that Bush was in office prior to 9/11 that the only for-warning for the 9/11 attacks occured in that time frame?
Clinton ignored more intel than we will ever know about and ignored enough information that could have prevented 9/11, it should be criminal.
If Gore had been elected I honestly think, they would still be trying to blame Bush, that's how nuts they are at this point.

This took years to plan. Those Islamic savages would have carried out this attack no matter who won the 2000 election. After all, there were several terrorist attacks during Clinton's presidency and he couldn't stop them either.

Yes, it would have happened. Don't forget, the planning for that large of an attack probably took several years to work out. And regardless of who was in office, they struck at America (and other nations who's citizens were in the towers) that day. They did not make the strike because of who was in office.

Never, cuz whn ever Bush's rating gets down, Osama releases a new tape, Americans get scared and Bush pacify them by promising them that American will be safe and i will smoke them out, but 5 years and still no one is smoked out other than innocent civilians and American soliders. Had Algore been there, this great drama of Bush and co. would have been just a plan on papers in the personal diary of Bush, Chenny, neo-cons and Arms dealers.

Al Gore did win the popular vote. How sad, America is going to show other countries how to have democratic elections. Big time no to 9/11, its a BUSH thing.

It's certainly possible. I think Gore's response would've been much different. He would've probably sent the military into Afghanistan but not Iraq.
