Breastfeed on demand, aiming for at least 6-8 feedings in 24 hours, or offer fomrula aiming for about 24 oz in 24 hours. Solids are just for fun and learning at this point, so don't stress. Offer one or two times a day, whatever works for you and baby. Baby will let you know when he's had enough; just follow his cues.

My 7 month old eats "baby food" three times a day at about 4-6 oz each time. She also has about 5 to 8- 6oz bottles a day.

i believe at seven months your baby is still getting used to the idea of solids. offering food a couple times a day is good and don't worry if she eats alot one day and nothing the next. you are still nursing or feeding formula i assume so you don't have to worry about 3 squares quite yet. my baby was pretty erratic at first and nursed alot still at 7 months. remember to not introduce too many new foods at once. at this point i say just have fun watching the reaction on your little one's face as she experiences new things-- it is priceless!

I am trying to remember ... I think at that point I was doing four 6 ounce bottles a day and 2-4 small jars of baby food depending on how hungry he was. I wouldn't stress about it, though. As long as your little one is healthy, he/she will eat when and how much they want.

As much as he wants. My guy is almost 8 months and eats a cup of cereal in the morning, a jar of fruit for lunch and two jars (fruit and veggie) for dinner, and nurses once in the afternoon/morning and once before bed.
Try to get him/her into a routine feeding schedule for breakfast/lunch/supper and he'll tell you when hes hungry inbetween meals :)
