I thought that was what he said, too! And I thought that he was implying that Baelzabub was so incredibly evil that a mere devil equated to only sideboard.

He was referring to the incident that happened in a London night club where the cadre took control of the lead singer and caused the drummer to do a Bob Marley rotation.

i know its weird, i also can't work out why sister sledge wanted to staple a vicar, u know in we are family, " please let me staple the vicar, we're giving love in a family dose" etc... i think its all the drugs pop singers are on, stapling a vicar seems kinda cruel though, though so does using the devil for a sideboard, have some respect people.

The others are correct; see http://www.queenwords.com/lyrics/songs/sng11_01.shtml

I think this means that the author has his own personal demons, and the devil put them there. (this kind of makes sense in the context of the rest of the song)

They are mis-heard lyrics. The actual lyrics are "Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me."

what he means is that Beelzebub- as in Satan, has a demon ready for him when he gets to hell.

it's "put a side" not sideboard
