I'm young, and don't feel that I want to be tied down just yet, however, I do not want to lose my boyfriend.

And of course, I would accept the same thing for him.

So, tell him, or do it behind his back. My decision will depend on the answers I get, I need to decide somehow and think this is the only way.

With a boyfriend you as saying that you have some kind of commitment and at the same time you are saying that you don't want to be tied down. It seems like a classic situation of "I think we should be just friends" . At least save his trust in women and you tell him rather than him find out. Hopefully he won't be heart broken over it.

He has a right to know, so tell him. If you go out and do it behind his back and he finds out, or worse, let's say you catch something (STD) and pass it to him....that's really unfair. It may be a turn on to him. He may be OK with it.

In all fairness though, if you don't want to be "tied down", why are you in a relationship? Why don't you honestly tell him that you aren't ready for a relationship and would prefer taking some time off to experience dating?

Be honest and good luck.

You need to grow up, make a decision and stop being a baby. If you want to be with him then give up everyone else, sounds like you want to play the field and he'd better not. Break up with him and play all you want, no guilt that way.

It depends on what kind of person he is, he might be down for another girl but probally not other guys. Ask if he would be interested in a 3rd party, most are as long as they can participate

Be honest with him and let him make the decision. If you lie to him and do it behind his back, you will end up losing him in the end. Be honest with him and yourself!

Just the fact you are considering going ahead with this, without telling him, tells me you mightn't love him as much as you seem to think.

Put yourself in HIS shoes.....if he wanted to sleep with other people, shouldn't he consult with you?

I think you need to be up front about it with him. I would rather be told then find out about it later.

well it isn't cheating if you tell him about it, and if he doesn't like it then he can move on. then again he might want to watch you, or join in for a little group action.
