first take a deep breathe
reflect what happen that was so bad
then just accept it happened

id run the bath water or shower turn off the phone maybe turn on some happy music take about a hour or so to your self have a drink of something that makes you feel good tea or whatever

lay down relax

and thank god i am alive and have a day that was bad because some people dont get that

and then shoot for tommorrow to be a better one

and if that doesnt work call someone to smack you with some sunshine and or take a happy pill you know the green m&m
hey chocolate is a cure for almost anything

remember
you are special and here with purpose

smile someone thinks your special
and remember you dont live in a third world country

I go to my nearby community park and walk a few laps around the track. It helps clear my mind and prevents me from going crazy. The brisk walk gets my endorphins going, and my mind is put to ease. Sure beats the guilt you suffer from downing a pint of icecream. I won't tell on you if you choose the latter ; ) I also vent with my husband during pillow talk. He often has great advice. Call your best friends and vent to them as well.

Come home to my family and get the biggest hugs. They always have away of making me feel like no matter what ever it was.. it doesn't compare to the love we share and have.

Go do something nice for someone else. It will take the focus off yourself. What better way to shake off the bad then to make someone else smile. Make some cookies for a neighbor or something.

Think of all the bad things that could be happening to you right now. And then think of all the good things in your life. It will bring a smile to your face. Just tell yourself that you are so happy and that it could be worse.

make some coffee,draw a super hot bath, dim the lights, light some candles and read a book(if its bright enough lol) Make the rest of the day about me(if possible,I am a mom so its hard!)
