they make some plastic spike strips that are used to keep pigeons from roosting try using them be sure you place them on the bottom of the roosting spot since bats hang upside down. You might even try placing a mesh bag with human hair in it near the roost most animals dislike the smell of humans and it will drive them away

When you close up the area, get a "net", a fishing net or butterfly net to trap him.

Wear protective clothing! Dont let the bat "on" you or you may get bit.

I would get it when its light, (have a huge spot light down there and you will see him), and then you can just get that net and nab him and then, put something over the net so he cant get out, then let him out!

Bats eat a huge amount of bugs! If I were you, I would build him a "bat house" and hang it under your eve, so that you can keep him around! They are very beneficial for your area.

I wish you well..

I sympathize along with your favor to have a toddler yet it really is a nasty, undesirable undesirable theory! Legally: no longer in worry-free words can your buddy get fired if stuck, in maximum places it really is a legal. and also you're an adjunct. until eventually you opt to have somewhat one in detention middle, ignore it. Biologically: there's a reason in vitro fertilization is a low yield proposition: The situations do no longer desire impregnation. because of this it many times takes countless tries. enable's settle for it - the "commonly used" way of fertilization many times takes a various tries (on basic). Ethically: those who donate sperm do so less than very strict situations and fewer than the reassurance that their genetic cloth will be used appropriately. they have a precise to have that expectation fulfilled. And what would you tell your toddler? That they were the made from a criminal offense? Please re-research.

You have a BAT in your house!
Use mice glue and mice traps everywhere. Use meat/beef. They eat meat. Let us know how it went when you come back to choose the best answer.

Good luck with your bat.

when I was a child we had a bat in our house. We caught it while it was sleeping by putting a glass jar over it and sliding a card between the wall and the jar. My uncle then took it to school with him!

Turn on the lights in the rooms you don't want him in. Have one room dark, and the door open. He will fly out.
They like the dark, and avoid the light.

Why not wait 'til he leaves one night, observe how he enters the building and then block up his access and any others

Turn the lights off while catching it. It will go blind and crazy. But make sure it doesn't bite you. It bites bad.
