I can think of five family members and friends off the top of my head who are on some sort of public assistance, such as WIC and/or Social Security. Every one of them supports G.W Bush and proudly displays their "W" bumperstickers on their old, beat up cars. Why are some people so morbidly stupid that they can't understand that if G.W had his way, they wouldn't recieve any public assistance?

You can tell by the defensive answers of the rightwing wacks that they don't have a clue. Not a flippin' CLUE.

BTW ~ Most Republicans I know have ripped their "W" stickers off of their vehicles in shame and disgust.

Can you even find a Republican running this November who wants the man campaigning for him? They're running from him like the plague.

LOL!

First, we have enemies that want us dead. They at least understand that it is more important to worry about people killing us, than welfare. It's better to be poor and alive, than rich and DEAD. If you can't understand that, you're the stupid one.

Second, Bush is not that conservative. He does not want people off public assistance, and in fact increased it (the new drug entitlement program).

Third, everyone should want people off public assistance. It is a horrible program to be run by the government. It should be handled by the private sector. It would be far more effecient and effective that way. If you can't understand that, them you're the stupid one.

Hmmm.. and yet I remember "workfare" and reduced benefits for additional kids being Democratic initiatives but Bush has only concentrated on eliminating fraud, not reducing benefits.

Your friends and family may have a point.

97% of people on welfare, who vote, vote Democrat.
It's bad enough being on welfare, but to make it worse, the Democrats exploit these people.
The Democrats keep them down, keep them poor, and keep them voting Democrat.
Check facts instead of looking at bumper stickers.
