I've been told that "cramps" are not natural and that if you get cramps than something is wrong or you are lacking something in your diet. I've always believed that cramps were normal. Does anyone know which is true?

i'd say on the first day or 2 that's common. And an hour feels like a classic time body. i'd advise taking a Tylenol each and every few hours for the first couple days of your era. you should attempt birth control besides - I used to have quite severe menstrual cramps, yet i'm at the moment on Nuva Ring and don't have that situation. i'm getting minimum cramping.

Menstrual cramps are definitely normal, I have had them from day 1, sometimes so bad I couldn't even get out of bed and go to work, or go to school! My pain would be so intense that I'd double over and literally cry! My best solution to you would be to please see your OBGYN first to rule out any other medical conditions first, but cramping before periods and during periods are normal and what I find most helpful is to take a couple ib-prophen tabs the day before you know you're gonna start and then to take a couple more the 1st day you've actually started, The heating pad also seems to help to an extent!

Who the heck told you that? Don't you believe them, just ask them by what authority they have this information. However, there are things that you can do to reduce the cramping feeling. Some people feel superior because they are the lucky few that don't get cramps. Be sure, they are the minority. I used to get them terribly and went to school and tossed my breakfast regularly. As I got older, the cramps became fewer and less uncomfortable. Take heart, it should get better.

Cramps are normal but they can vary in intensity from period to period. If you are having extreme cramps for every period you may need to talk to the doctor as there are some health conditions that can make cramps worse.

Cramps are perfectly natural. If they are very severe, that's a difference story. Most women experience them, but to different degrees.

Typical cramping during menstrual period is normal. Cramping comes from your uterus contracting, and it sure does when try to expell all that stuff from the uterus.
