I don't think it's a big deal... it wasn't too late. Sometimes even people who are usually normal can have a cycle that's a bit different without it meaning anything.

your period can be early late or on time. if you are just starting (12 or 14-even 17) you might experience missing a month or two or a week early or late. there can be a number of reasons. you're pregnant if you had any sexual contact with a boy. there's stress in your life, school, a boy or friends. if you are very athletic this could cause changes too. if you want too talk to me more about this i'm all keyboard.

If you are a young teen, things can be pretty haphazard. It can take a while for it to settle into a regular cycle....and even then once in a while you will surely go off track. Not to worry unless you experience pain or unusual symptoms.

It could be that you have stress in your life. There is many other factors in why you period wasnt "normal" but I wouldnt worry about it too much.

stress
exerising more or differently
recent trauma
medications

If it isn't any of those, it is probably your body cycle changing. But if it concerns you, go see your doctor.
