Someone gave me the happiest 4 weeks of my life. I just can't compare that to anything I have ever physically received. Thank you.

A great book that I've always wanted to read that my best friend got me as a post 21st birthday gift. I stil love it, even ages after reading it, 'cos it reminds me of the lovely time we had earlier at a hair salon. LOL.

My son (in college) bought me the book "The Giving Tree" (that I used to read to him when he was little)
I knew he was equating the tree (to me) and the boy in the book (to him)...at the end of the book he signed it, "thanks for all your branches"
I'll never get a better gift that that. When my grandmother came over (it was at Christmas) I sat on the floor and read it out loud...she was crying and so was I.

Tangible gift though... would have to be the sweetest mother's day necklace that an ex got for me. I love it.
