Tell Mom to print any and all that she can and hide it. Just a precaution! Then have Mom send an e-mail to the girl - very nice and sweet - introducting herself as Dad's wife.
If he doesn't stop - file for a separation.

You didn't make it clear whether her dad is talking to a little girl or a grown-up girl (who might be closer to his age.) If it is a little girl, and your friend's mother knows about this, your friend should talk to her and ask her mother if she knows the girl is young and if she knows how dangerous this is. If her mother just can't decide what to do, your friend can go to a school counselor and tell the counselor that she needs a referral to talk to someone who can help her and her mother make a decisive move. If her dad is talking to a little girl and being romantic with her, he may stop using the computer because he has been 'caught' and find a different computer to do his talking from. And he might be planning to meet the little girl he is talking to. This is why your friend needs a school counselor to help her - with confidentiality and trust that this problem will be recognized. Because it IS a problem; and it might be a very big dangerous problem.
If your friend's dad is talking to a girl who is closer to his age, he is really cheating on his wife by seducing another female into a relationship. Your friend's mother may know about this cheating and again, just be afraid to make a decision. What your friend can do is ask her mother to make a decision about how to handle this problem. If her mother keeps being indecisive, your friend could ask a relative or a friend to help her make her mother go to counseling with her. Yes, I said HER (your friend). She needs an environment that isn't so loaded with stress if she's going to concentrate on her schoolwork. She needs to feel that there won't be violent arguments and that her mother shares her concerns. Now, why didn't I say that the mother and father should go to counseling together? Of course, they should - and by counseling, I mean help from clergy or at a clinic that offers family counseling - but they may think they can't afford to. Or maybe the father just refuses to go. Maybe the mother is afraid to dissolve the marriage. It is your friend I worry about - not the grown-ups. Every adult knows about getting marital counseling. They probably haven't done that, or they did do that but didn't put much effort into it. Your friend's mother and father may be headed for divorce. Just think about how to handle the transition... that's what your friend will have to do. Good luck to her!

Have you heard of a word called INCEST?

The man is sick. Tell the mom to call for police aid or she will have to watch her move in with him. No offence but it happens.

Seriously. This is a serious offence. get police aid. I dont think the mom will do anything. If she would she would have by now. I think you should intimate the police secretly.

Have her find the email address of the girl [or girls, if it persists], and secretly "make a confession" to her, as if from him, that he has a venereal disease.
