Why must people take revenge on sting-rays following Steve Irwins death?

I've heard there have been 10 sting-rays found dead since his death. I really hope people aren't taking their grief out on animals

Those people are idiots. That little bit of new is going to do for stingrays what JAWS did for sharks........and it wasn't/isn't a good thing.
