I'm 47, and have been metalicized sinc Led Zep 2 - if there'd been metal before then, I'd have been into that - I know people older than me who still bang their heads (but slower), so the range is pretty wide

I listen to tunes by groups as eclectic as Led Zepellin to Linkin Park, AC/DC to AFI, Mad At Gravity to Metallica, Edgar Winter to Everclear, Pink Floyd to Pearl Jam, Iron Butterfly to Incubus...and dozens more......

and I was born in 1950......do the math.

you know i wondered when i was younger and listening to maiden, priest, ac/dc, sabbath. i thought when i get old, what would i listen to? 20 years later and i listen to harder stuff now then i did then. slayer, lamb of god, the haunted, arch enemy opeth. i still love the late 80's early 90's metal as well. testament, exodus, mercyful fate.

i guess i'll still banging until i die.

I have to agree, from cradle to grave. Metal will be around the person forever. If they are a true metal head.
