A round face is lovely- focus on your good poitns rather than using makeup to change the way you look. Instead, accentuate the fact you have a round face, smile in the mirror, and on the "apple" of your cheeks add some blusher. This will make your face shine, and hopefully add some definition- which will work better than trying to make your face look thinner- it will look too fake.

I have the same problem, round face. I'm a professional hair and makeup artist, and I've learned the art of facial contouring. When you put on makeup, you can highlight certain areas of your face that are flattering to take away from the more unattractive areas. I, for instance, always highlight my cheek bones and eyes (i feel like those are my best features). Highlighter can be found in any drug store that carries makeup. So when I smile, or the light reflects on my face, it draws a person's eye to your more flattering features.

your going to want to apply make-up vertically then. try highlighting and shadowing bases rather than blush. start with the light and go darker on the sides of your face. make sure to blend well. set it with a powder foundation over your whole face, and then apply blush right above/out from your cheekbones like you normally would.

Suck in your cheeks, do you see the hollows beneath your cheekbones? Apply the darkest color there. Also apply at the edge of your entire jawline. Darkest color. But be subtle, if not your run the risk of looking like Nikki Six back in the Motley Crue 80's experience...

blush can not shape the face. blush, via definition, is colourful and attracts interest to itself. you decide on a impartial flesh toned makeup, powder or cream, it extremely is extremely darker than your skintone. press your palms into your cheeks so as which you would be able to sense the melancholy under the cheekbone. notice the darker colour there, fading up in the direction of the ear and downwards in the direction of the mouth. there would desire to be no stressful edges. some those with extensive faces make the main of a sprint shading on the temples to boot. seek for "The artwork of makeup" via Kevyn Aucoin or "Designing Your Face" via way Bandy at your community library. makeup isn't hassle-free to do, opposite to what the makeup companies inform you, and you will would desire to prepare prepare prepare. the face is likewise altered via substitute in coiffure and shape of eyebrows. overly thinned brows or around formed brows will exaggerate a around face. maximum critically, discover ways to delight in YOUR face. be pleased with what you have.
