Keep them. Do you know that Steve Hodge (former Villa & Forest) swapped shirts with Diego Maradona after that famous encounter in Mexico 1986?
He said he'll never give it away, must cost a fortune now.

What would be the point in giving them back? Every top side in the country is supplied with new shirts for every single match, it's part of the deal with the kit manufacturer. Smaller sides don't however and they are sometimes not allowed to swap shirts. If you ever watched an England game against a rubbish side, at the final whistle, all of their players would run over to try and get Beckham's shirt. Stevie G has Shevchenko's shirt from the European cup final in a display cabinet in his house, it rotates and everything!

Most players will have them as souvenirs and will have them framed and put up in a room in there houses. If Some of the smaller clubs play premier league clubs they wont allow the players to swap there shirts because they don't have the finance to replace them, so they get the premier league shirt from the player

Keep them, but did you know, that at Charlton a while ago, if any player swapped his shirt, he had to pay the club £40 for it.....

They keep them, its a souvenier of the game.

This pisses the club off a bit because they like to re-use the shirts several times before throwing them away.
