the low tire pressure light was on when i purchased the car. not sure if it is related but the remote trunk fails to operate.

on the left of the steering wheel there should be a couple of buttons. Push the gauges button until it shows the tire pressure "ok" or "low" then hold in the reset button for about 5-10 seconds. it should go back to normal now.

most GM cars have a button in the fuse box that you push to reset the low pressure light. the system works by measuring the speed of tire rotation when a tire looses air pressure it gets slightly smaller. when the tires are rotated if one tire is worn more than another the system thinks a tire has lost pressure.
every time the tires are rotated or replaced this button will need to be pushed to reset the system.

allright i work at discount tire co. look in the owners manual it should be in there if not stop by any dealership or discount tire co store(if you have one around you) and they will show you how to reset it(it also helps if you ad air until the sensor light goes off. the remote trunk has nothing to do with why you sensors go off it has something do with the remote or the receiver for the remote
