well, concerned that a kid has enough money to be buring his clothes. its a bit wasteful. :) seriously though, i dont think flag burning is a nice thing to do, but the fact that its a crime is rediculous. Unless you are burning someone elses flag, then it should be fine.. If i buy a flag with my money, then i should have every right to burn it if i want... and as for a flag on a t-shirt.. shouldnt be an issue at all. Many people have problems with are government at the moment.. burning a flag is there way of expressing it... i dont think its an overly helpful way to express it, but is (or should be) an americans right to express themselves in anyway they want as long as it doesnt intrude on the rights of others. and if you are burning your own property, then you are hurting no one.

That shows a serious lack of respect for all whom have in the past protected that flag. The flag should be honored. It is not only the symbol of those who have fallen but for those rights that we have with us. To burn such a thing would be as bad as spitting in the mens faces in iwo Jima, or those on D -Day, those serving under General Pershing, Both Northern and southern heritages everything thats makes us, the best. When you burn that flag you become a disgrace and you do not deserve to be a citizen.

Actually, I believe that images of the US Flag were not supposed to be disgraced by commecrial use, such as tee-shirts or pants. We should be concerned that there are articles of clothing that disgrace the flag.

Well, a tee shirt with a flag on it is not a flag; now is it? I think democracy is safe from children.

No, but a 5hr mini-series seems to be able to destroy the clinton legacy.... lol
What flag was on it? Based upon what passes for curriculum in schools today, its little wonder that that happened.
