I'm not sure how Civil War is going to end, but I hope Cap & friends come out on top.

The Registration Act is law, so what possible situation would make the government want to repeal it? I know it's the Marvel Congress, but I'm assuming Mark Millar will have them act like the "real" government. That means the law will remain the law for a long time, and Cap will either have to give in or remain an outlaw. I'd rather see him remain an outlaw standing up for what's right. The story in New Avengers #22 with Luke Cage is perfect.

In the middle of all this is Peter Parker. I still feel he was totally suckered into giving away his identity. Tony needed a big win for his side, and it didn't matter to him what would happen to Peter.

By the way, was anybody else amazed at how easily the Yancy Street Gang found Cap and the gang, and Cap didn't act even slightly surprised they were found? I mean, SHIELD can't find them but some dudes in the 'hood waltz through some tunnels and find them with no problem. Come on, Marvel! Keep the stories solid!

Reading kierkansan's answer made me realize-- this is like the Monarch plot line that DC was using some time ago-- a widespread series with lots of tie-ins to all the different titles to keep people buying them all, even the less popular ones, so that they don't miss what might be an important plot twist, and all because a character from the future warns them that there is a terrible evil which must be averted.

I hope that the registration act fails. But it makes me wonder. Could all this be just a crass and crude effort on the part of Marvel to make money, in other words, did they give the writers and artists guidelines as to what to write, or did this really spring from some writer's own creativity...? It seems like a horrible thing to do, even to ask about, but would Marvel really manipulate the readers with a maxi-series like this, just to get them to buy more comics, including the less-popular titles, to sort of revive them instead of hiring good writes to write each title...? Could it be that terribly simple...?

Well I think Marvel Civil Wars really reflect our own lifes. In reality rules must be obey. Sometimes we can't just do what we want. For me I'm on Ironman's side. But Captain America is my hero, I love him a lot. I just wish that something better will come out of this n stop those fightings. I'll say to them, "Fighting among yourselves will make things even worse. It's a weakness. So please, stop this fighting."

I so hope Cap and the outlaws win. Down with the Superhero registration act! It's stuipid and Iron Man's stupid for following it.
