I much rather work to live pullin about 50-60K that along with my spouse should be enough to make it. I know it's not work if you do what you like but what I really like I can't do as a career. So I one more year of school and I'm have my degree in finance. Anyone else out there feel me on my living life theory or would you rather work 60 hours and stress all your life.

You are right.

And dont forget, rather than making big money, working alot all the time and spending it on big "thangs", isnt it smarter to work reallly hard and invest into something that pays you dividends...

Then slow the pace and work part time and enjoy life?

I work my 40 hours a week and pull down good money (over 40,000) and i am very happy, my girlfriend works as a trauma nurse and she works a lot more hours then i do and she is just as happy as i am. She loves to help people in trouble, she always tells me that since she was 5 years old she knew that she wanted to be a doctor or nurse, so for her its not a job, its her calling in life.

I'm with you. I will never work more than 40 hours a week, that's too much as it is. My brother works a lot, just so they can waste money on nothing. I would rather spend quality time with my family.

I'm with you! I think we should take a step back and see what's really important in life. Europeans work to live. We should look at them and learn from them.

The industrial revolution screwed things up for us big time.

Amen to that! I'm almost done in finance as well, but I rather be doing what I love most (which doesn't pay as much).
